A few weeks back now, we helped do some deep cleaning at one of the hotels. This brought back some memories for me, as I spent a summer cleaning hotel rooms in Salmon Arm when I was 18. It was a crazy place to work, and if you ask me they wanted way to many rooms cleaned in one day. However, during my walk down memory lane I remembered all the bathrooms I cleaned and how I never had enough time to really deep clean them.
I am always reading different ways to clean in an attempt to gather tips and idea's, so I thought this was a good basic practice to follow on bi-monthly basis. It's also a great simple "deep cleaning practice" to get started in your own home!
"Disinfect your sink. The faucet is on of the most bacteria ridden places of your bathroom, and it makes sense! Use an antibacterial wipe to kill bacteria. To clean you sink even further, pour vinegar and baking soda down the drain. use floss (yes, floss) to clean that difficult area where the base of the faucet meets the sink."-www.wrappedinrust.com
