At Organic and Clean, we understand Vacation Rentals.  This is a specialized area and requires specialized skills and practices that go beyond typical residential cleaning services in order to maintain an immaculate presentation of your vacation rental. 

The number one guest complaint on testimonials is lack of cleanliness; with our eye for detail and careful, methodical protocol we can help you ensure that doesn’t happen.

• All surfaces, shelves and light fixtures dusted

• All baseboards and heaters dusted and wiped clean

• Mirrors, windows, doors and walls spot checked

• Vacuum and wash all floors

• Light switches and outlets wiped clean

• Remove all trash / wash and sanitize trash containers / re-line trash containers

• Make sure TV remotes are available if unit contains TVs

• Advise manager of any items that appear to be accidentally left behind by guests

• Check that Welcome books or any other specialized items are present

• Ensure that any supply closets are locked up

• Advise manager of any items which require replenishment

• Scan for damages and missing items and report to manager immediately - take photos

• Dust and organize all tabletops

• Dust and organize shelving units

• Dust electronics

• Dust and organize media cabinet

• Dust fireplace hearths and mantles

• Dust or vacuum furniture and check for stains - remove stains as required

• Straighten throw pillows and throw blankets and check for stains - remove stains as required

• Pull out the sofa bed and check over (if there is one)

Kitchen

• Dishes: wash and put away

• Cabinets: wipe front and organize inside

• Appliances: clean and polish exterior

• Microwave & Fridge: clean inside and organize fridge

• Discard all perishable food items

• Replace any dish soaps and cleaning products as required

• Wipe down countertops and back splashes

• Remove all soiled tea towels and dish cloths and place in area for laundering

• Hang clean tea towels and place neatly-folded dish cloths near sink

• Review stock of paper towels or disposable cloths and replenish as required

BATHROOMS

• Clean and sanitize sinks - clean and polish all faucets and fixtures

• Clean, sanitize & neatly arrange all countertop surfaces & objects (ie: soaps/decor)

• Clean and sanitize shower and bathtub

• Clean and polish all faucets and fixtures

• Clean and sanitize toilets

• Wash and shine mirrors

• Remove all dirty towels and place in area for laundering

• Hang towels and facecloths as requested in preparation for incoming guests

• Remove used soap, shampoo and conditioners and replace with new as required

• Review stock of toilet paper and replenish as required

• Dust tops of dressers and check all drawers for forgotten items

• Dust closet rods and check for forgotten items

• Change all linens and launder as time permits – specific laundering needs to be discussed when booking

• Check under beds for forgotten items

• Tidy bedside tables & decor if necessary

• Clean and organize all tables and chairs

• Clean smudges from windows

• Clean and brush barbecues and cookstoves

• Remove all trash / wash and sanitize trash containers / re-line trash containers

• Sweep floors, wash as required
